  • 2 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  2. Add the instant coffee granules to the cream mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  5. Return the saucepan to low heat, add the bloomed gelatin, and stir until completely dissolved (about 2-3 minutes). Do not boil.
  6. Let the mixture cool for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Prepare your serving molds by lightly greasing them.
  8. Pour the mixture into the molds, filling them about 3/4 full.
  9. Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  10. To unmold, run a knife around the edge of the panna cotta.
  11. Dip the bottom of the mold in warm water for 10-15 seconds, then invert onto a plate to release.
  12. Garnish with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, and serve immediately.
