Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional, walnuts or pecans recommended)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for a fun twist)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper (for lining the pan)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the Nutella and sweetened condensed milk. Place over low heat and stir continuously until smooth (3-5 minutes). Avoid boiling.
  2. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir until melted and glossy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt. If using, fold in the nuts and mini marshmallows gently.
  4. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal. Alternatively, grease with cooking spray.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. For quicker results, freeze for 30-45 minutes.
  7. Lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and place on a cutting board.
  8. Cut into squares (16 pieces recommended) and serve on a platter or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For added creativity, consider drizzling melted white chocolate on top, sprinkling sea salt, or mixing in different types of chocolate chips.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
