  • 1 orange, thinly sliced, for garnish
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced, for garnish
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Juice the Oranges: Wash oranges. Juice until you have 4 cups of fresh juice. Strain if desired.
  2. Juice the Limes: Wash limes. Juice until you have 1/2 cup of lime juice. Strain if desired.
  3. Combine the Liquids: In a large pitcher, combine orange juice, coconut water, and lime juice. Stir well.
  4. Add Sweetener (Optional): Taste the mixture. If needed, add agave nectar or honey, starting with 1/4 cup. Stir until dissolved. Adjust to taste.
  5. Chill the Refresher: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to a couple of hours) to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Prepare the Garnishes: While chilling, wash and thinly slice the remaining orange and lime. Prepare mint sprigs (if using).
  7. Assemble and Serve: Fill glasses with ice. Pour the refresher over ice. Garnish with orange slice, lime slice, and mint sprig (if using). Serve immediately.
