The Tokyo Tea Cocktail is a colorful and refreshing drink that blends vodka, gin, rum, and blue curaçao, topped with lemon-lime soda. This vibrant twist on the classic Long Island Iced Tea is perfect for any occasion, offering a delightful balance of flavors that will impress your guests.

  • 1 oz rum (preferably white rum)
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz sweet and sour mix (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add 1 oz of vodka.
  2. Pour in 1 oz of gin.
  3. Add 1 oz of rum.
  4. Pour in 1 oz of triple sec.
  5. Add 1 oz of sweet and sour mix.
  6. Finally, add 1 oz of blue curaçao.
  7. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, about halfway.
  8. Secure the lid tightly on the shaker.
  9. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
  10. Grab a tall glass or cocktail glass of your choice.
  11. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  12. Using a strainer, pour the shaken cocktail mixture over the ice in your glass.
  13. Top off the cocktail with 1 oz of lemon-lime soda.
  14. Place a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass.
  15. If using, slap fresh mint leaves between your hands and place them in the drink.
  16. Optionally, add a colorful straw or cocktail stirrer.
